Scholarship Opportunities

Have you been dislocated from your job?  Are you not sure that you can afford to attend school?  Do you need to gain the knowledge and skills to obtain a certain job?  Does an employer require a specific credential in order to consider you for the position?  If you answered yes, GRADD scholarships may be available.  GRADD's scholarship program helps those who qualify pay for college tuition expenses. This includes both long-term and short-term training opportunities.  Programs are available for eligible Youth, Adults, Dislocated Workers, and those who have been laid off due to foreign trade.  We can help you determine what is right for you and your situation.

ELIGIBLE TRAINING PROVIDER LIST

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) mandates that the Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB), in partnership with the state, develop a statewide list of training providers.  These training institutions are approved to provide training to eligible WIOA Youth, Adult, and Dislocated Workers.

GRADD can only use training providers that have been approved on Kentucky’s Eligible Training Provider list (ETPL) which lead to high demand occupations specified to GRADD's local area high demand occupations.  Those occupations include: Energy; Advanced Manufacturing; Healthcare/Social Assistance; Transportation, Distribution, Logistics; Finance/Insurance; and Professional, Scientific, and Technical related careers.

Kentucky's complete Eligible Training Provider List can be found on the Kentucky Career Center's website under the Training Tab, and then by selecting Providers.
