The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) is a program funded in part by the state through the Kentucky Department for Aging and Independent Living, Cabinet for Health and Family Services. It is designed to provide a "one-stop" resource and counseling center, targeting services for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
The goal of this project is to provide easier access to services and support, save time in navigating the often complex system of care, offer supported decision making, and empower individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
The target populations are people aged 60 and older, individuals with disabilities, and their families and caregivers.
The services offered are outreach, information and assistance, referrals, follow-up, advocacy, counseling, case management, health education and access to services.
